Ein gefangener Wald wuchs in unserem Mund, 2014-15, series of 6, Acrylic and Text fragments on canvas, each 3.2 ft. x 3.2 ft.

The author Markus Stegmann and Mariejon de Jong-Buijs explore dialogues between color and text. In the two bodies of work called 'A captured forest grew in our mouth' and 'Folded Garden', Mariejon de Jong-Buijs reacts with vehement characteristic style to the text fragments on the canvas. Afterwards text particles return to the canvas and locker parts of the color. The diptych 'Mirabellenwald' consists of a large-scale painting and a smaller canvas with text that was the trigger for the image in the form of a dialogue.
